Jon Ossoff

Jon Ossoff is the senior United States Senator from Georgia, serving since January 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected at age 33, defeating incumbent David Perdue in a runoff election. He previously worked as a national security staffer for Congressman Hank Johnson and as managing director of an investigative journalism production company. He is known for bipartisan legislative efforts on infrastructure, veterans' affairs, and public safety, as well as investigations into federal prison corruption and military housing conditions.
