Kimin Lee

Kimin Lee is an Assistant Professor at the Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI at KAIST and Co-founder and Chief Scientist at Config. His research focuses on developing safe and capable decision-making agents, with emphasis on vision-language-action models, reinforcement learning from human feedback, and AI safety evaluation. He previously served as a Research Scientist at Google Research and completed his postdoctoral training at UC Berkeley under Pieter Abbeel. He earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from KAIST in 2020.
