Yen-Jen Wang

Yen-Jen Wang is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, advised by Professors Pieter Abbeel and Shankar Sastry, with close collaboration with Professor Haozhi Qi. His research focuses on robot learning, particularly humanoid locomotion, manipulation, and reinforcement learning with sim-to-real transfer. He has published work on humanoid balance, locomotion over challenging terrains, and language-conditioned robot policies at major robotics and machine learning conferences. He is also affiliated with Amazon's Frontier AI & Robotics team as an Applied Scientist Intern.
