Kevin Bankston

Kevin Bankston is Senior Advisor on AI Governance at the Center for Democracy & Technology, where he supports the AI Governance Lab in developing practical solutions to address AI risks. He is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, teaching a course on generative AI and the future of free speech and copyright law. He previously served as Meta's first AI Policy Director, founding the company's AI policy team and helping establish its responsible AI development approach.
