Jay Kapoor

Jay Kapoor is a General Partner at VSC Ventures, a $20 million early-stage venture capital fund he co-founded with Vijay Chattha in January 2021. The fund invests at the seed stage in startups focused on industrial automation and climate adaptation, particularly those applying AI to what Kapoor describes as dirty, dusty, and dangerous industries. He is also the host of the climate tech show CLIMB by VSC, where he interviews climate company founders. Prior to launching VSC Ventures, Kapoor spent over a decade as an investor and operator, with prior roles at Launch Capital, MSG Ventures, Techstars, and earlier in finance at UBS, the NFL, and Houlihan Lokey.
