Roland Busch

Roland Busch is a German physicist and business executive who serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG, a position he assumed in February 2021. He holds a doctorate in physics from Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg and joined Siemens in 1994 as a project manager in the Research Department. Under his leadership, Siemens has focused on combining physical and digital technologies, launching initiatives such as the Siemens Xcelerator platform and partnerships with companies including Nvidia, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services to integrate AI and cloud computing into industrial applications. His contract as CEO was extended for five years effective April 2025.
