Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan (born Patrick Peter Sullivan, 1885–1933) was an Australian cartoonist, animator, and film producer best known for creating Felix the Cat, one of the most popular silent animated cartoon characters. He operated his own animation studio and produced the Felix the Cat shorts throughout the 1920s, which were widely distributed in cinemas and later as newspaper comic strips. Sullivan died in 1933 in New York City.
