Neal Gabler

Neal Gabler is an American author, cultural historian, and journalist whose published works include biographies of Walt Disney, Edward Kennedy, and Walter Winchell. He serves as a senior fellow at the Norman Lear Center for the Study of Society and Entertainment at the University of Southern California and is a visiting professor in the MFA program at SUNY Stony Brook. He is best known for his prize-winning books, including An Empire of Their Own: How the Jews Invented Hollywood and Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination.
