Mohammad Abu Sheikh

Mohammad Abu Sheikh is a Jordanian-born technology entrepreneur based in the United Arab Emirates who serves as Co-Founder and CEO of CNTXT AI, a UAE-based data and AI company focused on Arabic-first sovereign AI solutions. He founded CNTXT AI in 2023 to address the region's data readiness gap, building clean, structured Arabic datasets and infrastructure for enterprise and government clients. He is best known for leading the company through a $60 million Series A funding round in 2026 and developing proprietary Arabic AI products including the Munsit speech-to-text system. Prior to CNTXT AI, he founded LocAI, which was acquired by AI71, and established the SMPL AI Fund supporting early-stage AI startups in the MENA region.
