Jake Guglin

Jake Guglin is the CEO and co-founder of Foundation Alloy, a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based manufacturing company that develops high-performance metal alloys using solid-state metallurgy technology. He co-founded the company in 2022 with researchers from MIT and UC Irvine, licensing technology developed by former MIT professor Chris Schuh and collaborators. Prior to Foundation Alloy, Guglin held strategy and operations roles at SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Lightmatter, and holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
