Michel Del Buono

Michel Del Buono is the chief investment officer and operating partner of a16z Perennial, the multi-family office of Andreessen Horowitz, where he leads multi-asset portfolio construction for founders and large individual investors. He previously served as the founding CIO of Jordan Park and as a managing director at Makena Capital Management, and he holds a PhD in management science and engineering from Stanford University. He is best known for applying institutional investing frameworks to taxable individual portfolios, with a focus on tax-aware investing, concentrated stock management, and portfolio structure.
