Zhuang Li

Zhuang Li is a Lecturer at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, specializing in natural language processing, large language model safety, and data-efficient AI. He previously served as a Research Fellow at Monash University and worked as a Research Scientist at Openstream.ai, as well as a software developer at Microsoft. He is best known for his work on LLM safety and evaluation, structured NLP, and culturally-aligned language models, and was a recipient of the EMNLP 2025 Outstanding Paper Award.
