Exodys Energy is a New York-based nuclear engineering firm that develops UPCYCLE, a small modular nuclear fuel recycling facility that converts spent nuclear fuel into usable domestic feedstock, addressing the U.S.'s 100,000+ metric tons of stored used nuclear fuel. Founded in 2023 by CEO Carl Perez alongside U.S. Navy nuclear designers, the company is one of five startups selected by the Trump administration for access to Cold War-era plutonium and has partnered with Snow Lake Energy on an SMR project targeting the U.S. data center market.
